• Freezing Protocol: Place the empty glass piece on a flat surface inside the freezer for a minimum of 1 hour prior to use.
• Water Placement Warning: Do NOT fill the chamber with water before placing it in the freezer. Freezing water inside the percolator can cause volumetric expansion, leading to structural stress or hairline fractures in the internal glass tubes. Always add room-temperature water after the glycerin has chilled.
• Ignition Caution: Do NOT use high-powered torch lighters or wind-resistant jet flame torches directly on the glycerin-filled 14mm bowl. Rapid, extreme thermal shifting can compromise the scientific glass. Stick to standard soft-flame lighters for optimal safety and hardware longevity.
