The SMOK TFV9 Replacement Coils are high-performance heating elements designed specifically for the SMOK TFV9 Sub-Ohm Tank, famously featured on the Scar-18 and Rigel kits. These coils feature a resistance of 0.15Ω (often marketed as 0.1Ω in various regions) and utilize a Meshed internal structure. This mesh design provides an expanded surface area, resulting in massive vapor production and intense flavor saturation for a premium direct-to-lung (DTL) experience.
A significant advantage of the TFV9 coil is its cross-compatibility; it is designed to be interchangeable with the legendary TFV8 Baby Coil series, allowing you to use these coils in a wide range of older SMOK tanks and third-party devices.

Quick Installation Guide

Prime the Coil: Drip 4–5 drops of e-liquid directly into the center of the mesh and onto the side wicking ports.

Install: Screw the coil firmly into the base of the tank. Ensure it is tight to maintain a proper electrical connection and prevent leaking.

Fill & Saturate: Reassemble the tank, fill with e-liquid, and wait 10–15 minutes. Because of the high-wattage nature of these coils, the cotton must be completely saturated before firing.

Break-In: Start at a lower wattage (approx. 40W) and gradually increase to your preferred setting over the first few hits.
WARNINGS & SAFETY:

Wattage Control: Do not exceed 90W. Firing these coils at excessively high wattages will burn the cotton wicking and significantly shorten the coil’s lifespan.

Liquid Compatibility: These are sub-ohm coils designed for High-VG (70/30 or 80/20) freebase e-liquids. They are not recommended for high-strength nicotine salts.

Battery Safety: Ensure your mod is using high-drain 18650 or 21700 batteries that are in good condition and capable of handling a 60W+ continuous discharge.

Heat Management: Sub-ohm vaping generates significant heat. If the tank becomes uncomfortably hot to the touch, allow it to cool down for several minutes.

Note: The TFV9 Mesh coil is favored by “cloud chasers” for its ability to produce thick, warm vapor without sacrificing the nuances of complex e-liquid flavors. To extend the life of your 5-pack, avoid e-liquids with very high sweetener content, as these can cause “coil gunk” to build up on the mesh faster. Replace the coil as soon as you notice a persistent burnt taste or a significant drop in vapor density.
